Kentucky Lake has continued to hold just under 354ft, with a level of 354.7ft on last Friday, and TVA is predicting the lake to remain stable this week. Flow rates have been all over the place, with flows of between 15,000cfs to 45,000cfs last weekend. Flows are going to moderate a bit this week, with averages around the 20,000cfs on most days. Water temperatures have continued to fall back into the low 50’s for most areas, with an average surface temperature of 51 degrees over the weekend. Kentucky Lake's pH level is at 7.21 with a dissolved oxygen level of 11.75. both the Duck and Buffalo Rivers remain low, and anyone boating on either should take extreme caution when navigating either river. Even the Mississippi River is well below normal; levels are 3 to 6ft below the “low” water levels.
