The national-level motocross track is the same famed course that hosts the AMA Amateur National Motocross Championships for bikes the previous week. The facility only hosts two races a year, including the AMA ATV Motocross Championship. This is the oldest race on the ATV national circuit, and it draws a lot of riders.
Join us for a relaxed, Ranger lead paddle trip as we explore the shores of Kentucky Lake. We will search out historic sites associated with the Civil War and Town Era history of Old Johnsonville. We'll tour sites that today can only be visited by water. You can rent ($20), or bring your own ($10) canoe to take part in the program.

Come race with us on some great, diverse off-road courses, consisting of 7-12 miles of woods trails, grass track and mild motorcross sections. All courses will be designed to be: most of all FUN and SAFE, raceable by everyone, and free of bottlenecks. There will be plenty of room for passing and lots of spectator vantage points.

Join our Ranger lead, easy, safe, 1/2 mile loop hike for kids as we go in discovery of the natural and historical wonders to be found at Johnsonville State Historic Park. We’ll use our senses to search the trail and see what kinds of discoveries we can find! Free to participate, ideal for children ages 4-8, children must be accompanied by an adult.
Johnsonville State Historic Park is hosting an overnight Advanced Junior Ranger Experience where we will learn more about the lives of Tennessee State Park Rangers. While doing so we will explore the Civil War and Town era history of Johnsonville, and learn more about the plants and animals that today call our park Home. In April of 1864 the 43rd Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry Regiment served as part of the garrison of the Johnsonville Supply Depot. Step into their shoes to live 24 hours as a Federal soldier as part of our immersive, overnight Civil War Soldier experience.
Join us for this stroll through the woods as we cross between historic road bed, and hiking trails.
