Christmas Open House December 5th; Visit the hall of Christmas trees through Jan. 1st

New Johnsonville, Tenn. –The holiday season is quickly approaching, and Johnsonville State Historic Park is getting into the spirit by hosting A Christmas Open House, along with a hall of Christmas trees through January 1st. 

Stockings will be Hung by the Chimney with Care as the Friends of Johnsonville State Historic Park host their Christmas Open House on Sunday, December 5th from 1-4pm. Enjoy festive fun, food, and the merriment of musical performances by Kathy Humphrey. Visit with the Tennessee Belles as they display 19th century fashions and don’t miss the silent auction to support Friends of Johnsonville State Historic Park. This free event will be held at the Johnsonville State Historic Park Visitor Center at 90 Nell Beard Road in New Johnsonville, TN. 

Additionally, the hall of Christmas trees returns as a holiday treat and will be on display at the Johnsonville State Historic Park Visitor Center through January 1st. Enjoy the seasonal splendor of these special Christmas trees including ones decorated by the Humphreys County Election Commission, WQMV, Humphreys County 4H and other community partners.
